Ensure the switch in your brain conveniently labeled "nautically themed instrumental funeral drone doom consumption appreciator" is set to "Har!" and enjoy this classic album. It's easy to listen to. I especially like the cymbals in the third song and how tastefully low-key it ends. Wow! I can almost smell the sea water... well it's just the cat.

I came onto Brunt through their latest album Ataraxy. I play it so much that I wanted more of Brunt. Blackbeard doesn't disappoint, it's as good! No favourite track, I always play the whole album every time.

Comme Satan Worshipping Doom et Miserable, Terminal est un album qui vraiment toute son ampleur quand il est écouté d'une traite car il s'agit d'une lente agonie qui s'étend sur presque trois-quarts d'heure. Les sonorités psychédéliques propres à Bongripper sont absentes et le stoner/doom metal du quartette tend plutôt vers une sphère atmosphérique (certains arpèges de "Slow" ne sont pas éloignés de celles de Earth) voire funéraire et la mort finit par s'imposer comme la seule évidence possible.
